"Blues 'n Brews Fest" in Des Moines
The third annual Poverty Bay "Blues & Brews" event will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012. A benefit for Highline Music4Life, "Blues & Brews" will feature entertainment several prominent musical groups during the day at Des Moines Beach Park. Also featured will be the product of craft breweries and fabulous food.

Instrument Collection Days
Highline Music4Life will be collecting “lovingly used” musical instruments this summer on June 2, 9 and 16 -- all Saturdays -- beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Des Moines Farmers’ Market. Many thanks to Wayne Corey for making this special place and time slots available to us. If YOU have a musical instrument that you’d like to put back into play, just bring it with you. We’ll be glad to get it repaired and ready for school in September.
